colour of your home

How easy is it to inject some colour into your home?

Changing the colour scheme at your home doesn’t mean that you need to completely redecorate. Nor does it mean getting the full exterior of your house painted in candy stripes. You can change the colour of your home with a few well placed aluminium windows and doors.

What colour should you choose for your home?

It is a difficult decision deciding on colour schemes for your home. Do you go with something bright that will make a statement, or something more neutral that won’t scream ‘look at me’ to your neighbours.

The colour of your home will depend on you, and your personality, but there are a few things that you should remember.

3 tips for choosing a colour scheme for your home.

  • Co-ordinate your colour palette.
    • Don’t choose lots of colours because you like them, pick the ones that go well together and use that as your palette.
    • Try not to choose colours that clash, but pick ones that compliment each other and make your home as unique as you are.
  • Black and white will go with anything, but grey is a stylish alternative.
    • There is a huge spectrum of colours on the grey scale so you can pick your favourite.
    • Greys are a sophisticated alternative to the popular white.
  • The colour of your home will affect your mood
    • Choose colours that will make you feel at home at the end of the day
    • Don’t settle for colours that won’t make you smile
